Business Development Specialist

Role Overview:We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Business Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential and existing clients, and managing our ServiceNow partner relationship. Additionally, you will play a key role in responding to RFPs, writing Statements of Work (SOWs), and collaborating with the team to generate marketing content. This position is fluid and offers the opportunity to grow into areas that align with your interests and career aspirations.

Responsibilities:

  • Networking and Lead Generation:
    • Identify and network with potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
    • Utilize various channels, including events, online platforms, and personal networks, to create and maintain a robust pipeline of leads.
    • Develop and execute strategies to approach and convert leads into clients.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Work closely with existing clients to foster strong relationships, understand their needs, and anticipate future requirements.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues.
  • ServiceNow Partner Management:
    • Manage the ServiceNow partner relationship, ensuring compliance with all program requirements.
    • Maintain the partner program dashboard, including deployment registrations, deal registrations, and other necessary documentation.
    • Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow partner programs and leverage them to benefit our clients and projects.
  • RFP and SOW Development:
    • Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) by collaborating with technical teams to craft compelling and accurate proposals.
    • Write and refine Statements of Work (SOWs) that clearly define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and client expectations.
  • Marketing and Content Creation:
    • Work with the team to generate marketing content, including blog posts, LinkedIn posts, video content, and other promotional materials.
    • Contribute ideas and collaborate on marketing strategies that enhance our brand presence and attract new business.

  • Networking: Proven ability to network effectively, both in-person and online, to generate leads and create opportunities.
  • Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills and experience in managing client relationships, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar platforms is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
  • Content Creation: Experience in creating engaging marketing content and a passion for storytelling.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing role, preferably within the technology or consulting industry.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals.
  • Experience managing partner relationships or similar roles is a plus.
  • Proven experience in responding to RFPs and writing SOWs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.
